Dear Nickson & colleagues,

Thank you very much for organising such a wonderful holiday for us.

I must admit I felt a bit uncertain at first,
But once we arrived in Zambia everything was great and we were well looked after. We also had the pleasure of meeting your staff in your office!

There were two absolute highlights in our trip that I want to mention:

the 4 day, 3 night canoe trip on the Zambezi river and the Mana Pools was absolutely stunning. So relaxing but also full of excitement: hippos on your left, crocs on your right, elephants ahead; it was unbelievable. Our guide TK and his assistant Carlos were really the best guides we could possibly have, they looked after us very well, they were fun and did some great cooking!
the McBrides Camp in Kafue National Parc is a precious jewel that you should keep a secret! The hosts Chris and Charlotte are wonderful and very special people, and the walks are breathtaking. We had a leopard and an elephant walking through the camp - can you believe it?

Once again thank you very much for all the wonderful experiences. We think Zambia is a beautiful country full of very nice people, and we will try to return!

Best regards,

Nickson and The Zambian Safari Co were really great with everything I asked for. We had 6 people with 8, yes 8 different flights and 4 different accommodations. There was not one problem with any connection or accommodation. We had one flight sit on the tarmac for 2 hours and we had to really rush to meet the next flight, but that was certainly not any fault of Nickson or the Zambian Safari Co.

We had someone meet us at ever port and take us to and from our accommodations. Everything went really smooth from the moment we got to Zambia. Nickson met us in Lusaka and made sure the connections and accommodations were met.

I did over 2 years of research and reference checking before I picked the country, National Park, and the Zambian Safari Co.

I would recommend Nickson to anyone and in fact, I will be using him again next year for another trip.
Feel free to ask me for a reference at any time.

Dear Nickson:

We want to thank you for doing a fine job of helping us with a complicated itinerary, where we picked up our daughter in Choma, Zambia, after a medical mission there, and travelled with her through Victoria Falls, South Luangwa National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, the Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge, and Lake Manyara. I think people need to understand this is a collaborative process, and many details need to be understood mutually between Zambian Safaris, the various lodges and properties, and the traveller himself. To that end, I must say that you were very patient with all our requirements, always responding pleasantly to us, and together we all knew when we had a workable itinerary, which dove-tailed perfectly with our daughter, Dr. Kim Stone's itinerary.

All the properties we visited had reservations firmly in place, and each of the airport transfers were in order, including our drivers, who all greeted us on our arrival.

Our thanks to you, Nickson, for seeing to it our stay was an amazing one. There is simply no place in the world like Africa. is there?
South Luangwa National Park, and particularly the expertise of the guides at the Bushcamps, were the highlight of the trip for us. Dr. Kimmy knew hundreds of bird species by the time we were finished. We knew some, as well ~~ !

I probably would not recommend the accomodations at the Lusaka Hotel, but I recognize there are limited accomodations there....and besides, that hotel, although the rooms aren't pretty, has the best coffee I think I've ever tasted. So every cloud has a silver lining.

Please tell your clients to remember that an African trip is a collaborative process, and that both sides need to work hard to reach a good understanding of what is needed, and that the arrangements and confirmations are all in place, and I am sure their stay will also be a good one.

Sincerely,
Charlie and Sue Stone
