Surrounded by the calm waters of our Marine Sanctuary, there are many options for water based activities.
Snorkeling – When you’re staying at a marine sanctuary, the obvious attraction is the coral and tropical fish life. Wander off the shore to hand feed thousands of ‘tame’ fish, or join our daily snorkel safari to the fringing reef where you can see more than 130 different varieties of coral in 2-4m of water.
Kite Surfing – For the more adventurous of you, the mainland beach opposite Hideaway Island has proven to be a very popular spot for kite surfers. The combination of brisk breezes, flat sandy beach and a beautiful location are difficult to beat. Bring your own gear.
