Bludenz is a city in the state of Vorarlberg in Austria. The town is surrounded by mountains at the meeting point of five different valleys. The Bludenz district headquarters are situated in the Castle of Gayenhofen, built in the 18th century. Bludenz is also capital of a district of Vorarlberg.

Montafon is the valley in Austria extending from Bludenz to the Silvretta. It is also known in the local dialect as Muntafu. The main village is Schruns. It is famous for skiing, hiking, and mountain-biking. In the Montafon there are two 9-hole golf courses, one in Tschagguns and one in Partenen. The Stand Montafon is the association of the 10 Montafon valley villages.
Another Valleys are – The Klostertal, The Walgau, The Brandnertal, The Grob Walsertal. These are also attraction for visitors of Bludenz.
