Cabo Ledo is the most known beach in Angola. Almost 100 Kilometers from Luanda on the only road to Benguela-Lobito. Drive a total of 125 km south of Luanda, crossing the bridge at the Barra de Kwanza (a military checkpoint and entrance to the national park of Quicama). At km 125 the road climbs a first rise and offers a superb view of the beach at Cabo Ledo down the valley. Continue to the top of the rise and turn right onto a small track which follows the ridge towards a quarry and the old lighthouse. Descend right past the quarry and follow the track down (4×4) to the beach.
