Cotopaxi National Park
The Cotopaxi National is situated near Latacunga in Ecuador, it is said that it is the highest active volcano in the world. This volcano provides some perfect opportunities for photos, with its perfect cone-shaped, snow-covered top. This national park is home to several different species. You can expect to see wild horses, deer, llamas, pumas and Andean condors. The park is also a perfect destination for a birdwatcher, the forests and plains are home to birds such as, condors, blue-billed pointed ducks, Andean gulls and hummingbirds. The park also has a small museum, that showcases the park’s geology and stuffed animals.
Otavalo is a small town in Ecuador, about 100 kilometers north of Quito. Initially there is not much to see in this little town but it gets pretty colorful and suffocated of agitation on Saturday mornings, when the natives begin to display there goods in the Poncho Square. They sell everything from carpets, blankets and belts, to all other types of nick-naks, everything created with their skill of their hands and the creative impulses of their inspiration.
El Cajas National Park
This park is a popular destination for trout fishing, hiking and camping, it is popular for its many lakes and waterfalls, with more than 275 lakes and waterfalls.
This huge cathedral is situated in the heart of Cuenca and features a series of sky-blue cupolas. The interior of the cathedral is amazing, it contains a magnificent altar as well as a famous crowned image of the Virgin Mary.
This huge, lively boardwalk is situated in Guayaquil, stretching several miles along the Rio Guayas. It is always well-patrolled and is dotted with small food stands, eateries and many historical and modern buildings.
