Gonarezhou National Park

Gonarezhou National Park is a National Park located in south-eastern Zimbabwe. It is situated in a relatively remote corner of Masvingo Province, south of Chimanimani along the Mozambique border.

1st May 31st October, closed during rainy season

What to see
Elephant, buffalo, hippopotamus, Liechtensteins hartebeest, zebra, giraffe, nyala and roan antelope. Bird life is prolific with such rare species as hooded vulture, blue spotted dove, fishing owl, Angola pitta, silvery checked hornbill, mashona hyliota and yellow- bellied sunbird.

Activities
Self drive game viewing (4×4 advised) and camping.
