Kempton Park

Kempton Park is a city 11 kilometers north-east of South Africa’s biggest city and financial hub, Johannesburg, and falls within the Ekurhuleni Municipality formerly known as the ‘East Rand’. Kempton Park is next to one of the largest townships in South-Africa called Tembisa.

Due to the city’s close proximity to Johannesburg and reasonable proximity to the Capital city Pretoria, it is the logical choice to host the Johannesburg International Airport. This often means that tourists first encounters with South Africa is the city of Kempton Park. Due to the Airport and the Precinct that surrounds it, the city boasts a world class Casino in Emperor’s Palace (Formerly Caesars Palace), with conferencing facilities and 3 hotels (of which one is a 5 star) and a several other international brands of hotels.
