Kumba is a city of Cameroon located in the province of the South-west and chief town of the department of Same.
The city is a center of trade for the cocoa and palm oil. It exists there also a food industry (oil) and an industry of wood. Plantations of hevea also meet at the entrance of the city.
Kumba was known a long time for its market by which the goods coming from close Nigeria forward.
Kumba is also the town of birth of international of Serge Betsen Rugby and the Vencelas weight-lifter
