Egypt is a ‘must see’ destination and on this trip you can enjoy all the legendary sites and attractions of the Nile in comfortable fashion. The trip starts by visiting the Pyramids, arguably the most awe inspiring man-made constructions on earth. We then head south to the site of ancient Thebes – Luxor – home of the immense Temple of Amun at Karnak, said to be the largest religious building in the world. Across the Nile we visit the Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepshut’s Temple and the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Next we board our boat to Aswan, and spend three relaxing days afloat, cruising the Nile whilst visiting the sites along the banks of Africa’s most important river. In Aswan there will be plenty of time to visit the world famous Abu Simbel before returning to Cairo. As an added bonus our excellent pool of guides, many of them professional Egyptologists, consistently get top marks from our clients for their depth of knowledge of ancient Egypt and their ability to bring it to life.
