Saigon has 22 districts, but five are rural farmland areas. The other 17 form the proper. Five of there are named: Tan Binh, Binh Thanh, Phu Nhuan, Thu Duc, and Go Vap. The rest are numbered: one to twelve.
Cultural diversity remains one of the undeniable richness of this city.
Among foreigners, Asians are most numerous and are those which invest the most here. The Sino-linguistics community is undoubtedly the most important, in particular with Cholon, the Chinese district. But basically, Japanese, Taiwanese, Koreans and Singaporean people are among the most influent economic groups here.
