The Victoria Falls, situated 10 KM south of the City of Livingstone on the Zambezi River are classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World, are one of Zambias biggest tourist attractions. At its peak in April, over one million gallons/minute of water fall into the gorge below with a thunderous sound. The cloud of mist can be seen from over 10 km away, so giving rise to the Falls local name: The Smoke that Thunders.
The Falls are situated near the town of Livingstone in the Southern Province. Adventure activities are endless: White-water rafting, canoeing, game viewing, horse riding & Bungi-jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge (at 111 metres, said to be one of the highest jumps in the world). Micro-light flights over the falls, Traditional & Cultural Villages, boat cruises and local Museums are but a few activities that are available.
